MEMBERS-ONLY New Business Accelerator Programme Starting 18th March 2024!

What happens on the New Business Accelerator programme?
This is a 14-week programme where you are expected to take action. New business doesn’t win itself. Every week on the programme, there is a one-hour group session where you will explore the week’s topic in more detail and get help and advice on your business development plans. There are two reading weeks on the programme to help you review and reflect on your progress. But also — as you have a busy day job — catch up on any reading or listening you need to do. You are expected to spend 30 minutes every weekday on this programme. (The biggest theme, aside from how to generate new business, is ACCOUNTABILITY.)

Objectives of the programme:

  • Help you decide WHAT TO DO in your firm’s business development plan and WHAT YOU CAN SAFELY IGNORE.
  • Have the confidence and clarity to put together and implement a business development plan which will allow you to achieve your growth plans for your practice.
  • Allows you to make informed choices about what business development resources and support you require.
  • Help you make sure that your firm is — on a regular basis — always generating good quality new business.
  • Give you weekly accountability to implement what you say you are going to do.
  • Allow you to put in a structure so that your firm’s business development can happen without you needing to be heavily involved.
  • Tap into the expertise of true experts to help you make an informed and cost-effective decision on how to spend your business development budget and time.
  • Set up a regular routine of ‘business as usual’ business development activities, which you know will generate the right level of new business if you make it happen.
  • Allow you to spend less time and money on business development but get better results.

Focus for each week:

• Week 0 (Orientation) – In this session, you will identify/share your main goal for the programme; this is also a forum for any questions and where we will have an overview of the programme
• Week 1 – Business development basics
• Week 2 – Removing the barriers to get you and your firm winning work
• Week 3 – How much, and what new business do you really want?
• Week 4 – Reading & review week
• Week 5 – Generating business from LinkedIn
• Week 6 – How to generate more referrals
• Week 7 – Content marketing
• Week 8 – Reading & review week
• Week 9 – Video
• Week 10 – Search marketing and paid ads
• Week 11 – How to make your firm irresistible to new clients
• Week 12 – The sales process and converting more business
• Week 13 – Events
• Week 14 – Review of the programme
